By downloading and using UPF Detector, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the app.
UPF Detector is available for free with limited features. Premium features are available through optional subscription plans. The app helps identify ultra-processed foods but should not be used as the sole basis for dietary decisions.
UPF Detector offers optional premium subscriptions that unlock additional features including unlimited AI classifications, full ingredient lists, and detailed product analysis.
Free Trial: New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → UPF Detector → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a subscription term.
Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. All payments are processed by Apple. Subscription prices are subject to change; any price changes will take effect at your next renewal date.
The information provided by UPF Detector is for general informational purposes only. We rely on the Open Food Facts database and our proprietary database, and cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of product information. The app should not be used for medical purposes or as a substitute for professional dietary advice.
When reporting missing products, you agree to provide accurate information and acknowledge that the data may be shared with the Open Food Facts database under their license terms.
UPF Detector and its original content, features, and functionality are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the app.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, UPF Detector and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
